Baby Bonnet Knitting Patterns

Are you a carpet cleaner looking to add dry cleaning to your list of services? If so you might be interested in this article which will give you some tips on the basics of the bonnet cleaning process. It might help you avoid some mistakes that you would otherwise make.

The first thing you need to do when taking up bonnet cleaning is gather the necessary supplies. You will need a low speed buffer, a pad driver, bonnets, a vacuum, a carpet rake, a sprayer and a suitable bonnet cleaner. If you are doing mainly residential work you will want to buy a 17 inch bonnet as it will be easier to move around furniture and in tighter spaces. If you are doing commercial, a 20 inch is the way to go. As for bonnets, I recommend cotton bonnets. They do not last as long as the synthetic but they absorb more moisture and I feel that they clean better. The rest of the materials are self explanatory.

Your first step in bonnet cleaning is to vacuum the carpet. This is important in any process but especially important in bonnet cleaning. After pre vacuuming you will apply your bonnet cleaner to the carpet and allow it to dwell for a few minutes. Now you can place a bonnet on the carpet and place your buffer with the pad driver installed on the bonnet. I choose to use the bonnets dry but you could dampen them with your cleaning solution. If you use them dry make sure that thee is sufficient pre-spray on the carpet for lubrication. Turn the buffer on and go over the carpet once in each direction. Carry a spray bottle of cleaning solution with you for any stubborn spots. After making two passes over the carpet you are done with the buffer. Now just take your carpet rake and groom the carpet and you are done.

That is it, that is all there is to bonnet cleaning. Of course there are several subtleties that you will learn which is why you should practice at your home or office several times before cleaning for a customer. Good luck to you.
