Have you ever been really stumped on what to buy someone for a special gift?.. Have you looked through all the traditional books in the bookstore and just come up empty? I have discovered that searching online for a great ebook, can be a great gift.
You are probably thinking, so how do I give this as a gift, when its on my computer, my poor old printer could not possibly print the 100 pages or so and the pictures. If you know your friend well enough, then you most likely know their favorite hobby, or interest. Find a ebook online, there are many sites that carry some great ebooks, and then download to your computer. Once you have done that, then transfer to a CD or disc.
Take your CD or disc to your local copy/office store, and have them print the CD or disc. It is that simple, also have them print on both sides of the paper to save money and paper. (Make sure you tell them this right away, as the tendency is to print one side). You want this to read like a real book.
If you are creative, you can have them put a heavy card front and back cover with a spiral binding, and then you can personalize or decorate the front cover to make your ebook a special "one of a kind" gift. Or you can choose from photographs you have that you think your friend would like, and have copied onto the front cover. This part can be really fun, and your friend will have a great personalized, and special gift from you
